Life and Ministry
I Married Connie Jones, who is the love of my life.
We have three grown sons, Jonathan Casey, David Aaron & Justin Lucas Jones, two beautiful daughters-in-law, and seven awesome grandkids. More to come, hopefully.
Called to minister to the Body of Christ, to explain, clarify and exemplify the life of Jesus Christ in my daily walk, to positively impact the Church of Jesus Christ & the faith-based community, by strategically capitalizing on the local church strengths and minimizing its weaknesses, thus allowing these spiritually driven entities to naturally thrive so that the Kingdom of God can be expanded.
Arrived at Salvisa Baptist May 3rd, 2015.
Amy Riley has been the worship leader at Salvisa Baptist Church since 2019. She has served for over twenty years as a music, youth & children's minister in various local churches in Central Kentucky.
She has a heart for evangelism and desires nothing more than to see people come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and to experience him in meaningful and intimate worship. Amy is also a full-time school counselor with the Mercer County School System and lives in Harrodsburg with her husband, Mike, and her daughter, Addison.
Hello! My name is Emily Dailey Daniels, and I am proudly serving as the Children's Director at Salvisa Baptist Church. I currently live in Harrodsburg with my husband, Ray, and two daughters, Raegan and Emerson. I am also an elementary school teacher in the Mercer County School District.
The Children's Department at Salvisa Baptist Church has one main goal: to share the love of Jesus with every child that walks through our doors. This goal is summarized in the following verse: "Train up a child in the way he should go and when he grows old, he will not depart from it." (Proverbs 22:6)
Here at SBC, we provide Sunday School and Children's Church on Sunday mornings, SBC KIDZ on Wednesday nights, and numerous special events throughout the year for our children. We would LOVE to have you join us!
